M's 1st Birthday Party

M had a wonderful first birthday party! We had so many people come to help celebrate her big day.  We went with a vintage feel with  light pink, white and accents of her favorite animal- lamb for the "theme" of her party and it was exactly what I wanted.

I have a crazy love for balloons.  It made me feel like such a mom walking into the store to pick up balloons and treats for my baby's birthday.  It is the small things, right?

I was pretty happy with how all the details came about!
I love crafts and any reason to make a banner!

Hydrangeas are my absolute favorite and the flower that the
Hubby brought to the hospital the day M was born.

The party favor!

Her sweet birthday cake was delicious! The main cake came from the bakery, but her mimi, made her "smash cake".  It took her a minute to figure out what to do with her own little cake, but once she did she loved it!

Happy Birthday!
Mom, Dad, why are all of these people singing at me??
I had to lend her a hand at first, because she wasn't just sure what to do.
I get it now!

We hosted M's first birthday party the weekend before her actual birthday, and I'm so glad we did.  The day was fun but went so quickly.  I spent most of my time hosting and not playing with her and that is when I decided birthday parties will never be on the actual day.  I want her actual birthday to be just family and quality time.

So cute in her Birthday outift!

Spoiled Rotten!

Hamming it up with her new sunglasses!
